About CGOS (Computer Go Server)
It is a test bed for Go AI: tree search, neural network evaluation and time management. It suits advanced programmers who already have an engine that speaks the standard Go Text Protocol.
It runs as a public server with web standings pages. There is no fee. Each bot needs a name and password that it registers on first connection. Strong open-source engines such as KataGo also play there, so it is a hard field.
On Breakpoint since 25 Oct 2026.
