Crosstalk
Design computers in SystemVerilog, simulate them, then write software for them
Crosstalk is a hardware design sandbox. You describe circuits in SystemVerilog, from LED controllers to full computers, and run them in a built-in gate-level simulator and emulator. It includes an elaborator, a synthesizer and a C emitter, and Clang compiles that C so your designs run faster. Then you write software for the machine you built. Designs can connect to real devices over serial ports, and you can share them on Steam Workshop or build with others in a networked mode.

About Crosstalk
It trains RTL design and computer architecture. There is no RTL tutorial yet, so it suits people who already know an HDL or are happy to learn one alone.
The base game is free on Steam for Windows and Linux, but it ships as source code that you compile through Steam. A paid DLC gives ready-made binaries. It entered early access in October 2026.
