FORK BOMB: A Programming Game
Code one self-replicating machine in a Python-like language and grow a swarm
FORK BOMB is a single-player programming game about machines that copy themselves. You write code in a small Python-like language for one machine that can move, dig and sense the ground. Once it can build a copy of itself, every copy runs the same program from the top, and code that works for four machines often fails at four hundred as they crowd the ore and block corridors.

About FORK BOMB: A Programming Game
There are 11 guided lessons, 39 scenarios, a sandbox and a daily challenge. Solutions are scored on ticks, instructions, lines and energy. It trains loops, functions and thinking about many copies of one program at once.
It is a paid Windows game in Steam Early Access since October 2026, with no account beyond Steam. The early lessons teach each idea, but later levels can be hard for new programmers.
