Advent of Cyber is a free cyber security event that TryHackMe runs every December. A new task opens each day for 24 days, and the tasks follow one holiday story. Each task comes with a guided walkthrough video and questions you answer on the TryHackMe platform.

About Advent of Cyber
You practise defensive and offensive security topics. Past topics include the Linux command line, phishing detection, malware analysis, log searching with Splunk, web attacks and cloud security.
The event is made for complete beginners, but people with some experience can join too. You need a free TryHackMe account to do the tasks. There are usually prizes for people who finish rooms during the event.
