Breakpoint (breakpoint.games) is a free directory of programming games, run by UrsaCode. By using the site you agree to these terms. Our privacy page says what we store.

Using the site

You can browse without an account. Don't misuse the site: no scraping that slows it down, no attempts to break in, no spam, and no automated sign-ups. The listings link to games run by other people; we don't control them, and their own terms apply when you play.

Accounts

An account is optional. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or ban accounts that break these terms.

What you post

Tips, comments, game submissions, edit suggestions and reports stay yours. By posting them you let us show, edit for length or clarity, and keep them on Breakpoint. Post only what you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or misleading. Moderators may decline or remove anything.

Claiming a game

Claim only games you made or help run. A claim shows you as the listing's verified maker and lets you suggest edits; moderators still review edits. You can prove it with a tag, file or DNS record on the game's site, a token on its platform page, a link sent to its Steam support email, or by signing in with itch.io or Roblox. We re-check claims monthly, and a claim lapses if the proof stops matching. Someone with better evidence can appeal a claim, and a moderator decides. False claims are removed and can lead to a ban.

Listings and data

We decide what's listed and how. Game names, logos and screenshots belong to their makers. The numbers on /stats are free to quote with a link (CC BY 4.0). If you make a game and want its listing changed or removed, claim it or tell us.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We check links twice a day, but listings can be out of date and games can go offline. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using Breakpoint or the games it links to.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date below changes when we do, and big changes are announced on the site. Questions go through the contact form.
