CodePen Challenges give you a new front-end prompt every Monday, with a theme for each month. Past themes include video games, color, layouts and charts. In October 2026 the theme is Halloween JavaScript tasks with Jest tests in the starter template. You build a Pen for the prompt and add the week's tag so others can find it.
