Nebula covers Linux privilege escalation, scripting language issues and race conditions. Phoenix covers stack and heap overflows and format string bugs without modern protections. Fusion adds harder scenarios with protections turned on.

About Exploit Education
It trains classic Linux exploitation step by step. Nebula is a good place to start, and Fusion suits people who already know the basics. Main Sequence, a past Ruxcon CTF, and the older Protostar are also kept on the site.
You download the images from the site and run them locally. Phoenix comes as QEMU images for several CPU architectures, and the others are ISO files.
