About Hack The Web

The site says it suits students from 7th grade up and estimates 30 to 90 minutes to play, which makes it one of the gentler first steps into CTF-style thinking. Teachers and event hosts can create rooms so a class plays together.

It is available in German and English. You need a login: register, use GitHub, Discord or Eduplaces sign-in, or try the shared demo account. The source code is open on GitHub, and no price is mentioned anywhere on the site.

On Breakpoint since 31 Oct 2026.
