Plasma is an engineering sandbox where you build devices from hundreds of components and give them behaviour with a node-based visual programming tool. Players make robots, factories, arcade machines and whole game worlds, scaling, rotating and painting parts as they go.

The logic nodes range from simple to advanced, so it suits makers who think in systems and want a place to practise event-driven logic without writing text code. Steam Workshop creations from other players are a good way to see how complex devices are wired.
Free to play on Steam for Windows only, and it went free in May 2024 after launching as a paid game. No account is needed beyond Steam.
