Reginald Expressman

Type regular expressions to deliver mail only to the right houses on the street

Reginald Expressman is a short 3D regex adventure. You play a mail carrier walking a street of labelled houses, such as cat house, dog house and scarecrow hut. Some mailboxes are marked for delivery, and you type a regular expression into a box beside Reginald. Houses whose labels match turn green, and when the selection is right you press Deliver.

About Reginald Expressman

Each street asks for a pattern that hits every target and nothing else, which trains the core habit of writing a regex that is exact rather than merely matching. It suits beginners and anyone who wants a light, visual regex warm-up.

It is free, runs in a desktop web browser and needs no account. The maker describes it as short and built for desktop, so expect a brief experience rather than a long campaign.
