Build regex attacks from cards and match your rival's text
regxkcd is a card battle game built around regular expressions. You hold a hand of four cards and three active battle cards. Each round you swap one battle card for one from your hand, then pick up to three cards to form a regex. Your attack does damage equal to the number of characters it matches on your opponent's battle card.

It is a short, light way to think about how patterns match text. Some basic regex knowledge helps you plan good attacks. A game takes a few minutes, and players mention a harder AI opponent.
The game was made for the xkcd Game Jam by MekaGem, aborg, alexplatonov and ValNykol. It is free on itch.io and plays in the browser with a mouse or touch. One player reported layout problems on mobile.
