Write x86 assembly warriors that fight in shared memory
This is a browser version of CoreWars 8086, a game where small programs called warriors fight inside shared memory. You write a warrior in x86 assembly. It has to keep running while it attacks and overwrites the code of the other warriors.

About corewars8086_js
It is a hard but rewarding way to learn how real x86 instructions and memory work. It suits people who already know some assembly or want a deep challenge.
Everything runs in your browser with no install. A NASM assembler compiles your code as you type, and a step-by-step debugger shows registers, the stack and shared memory. You can load batches of warriors from a zip file and run competitions of many games. It is linked to the Code Guru Xtreme contest, and the code is open source.
On Breakpoint since 23 Oct 2026.
