Digital Logic Sim

Build chips from a single NAND gate, then stack them into adders and computers

Digital Logic Sim is a minimalist digital logic simulator. You start with a NAND gate, combine components into your own custom chips, and then reuse those chips to build bigger circuits in layers of increasing complexity. There is no set goal: players build adders, make music, or work towards a small computer.

About Digital Logic Sim

It suits anyone curious about how computers work from the gate level up, and pairs well with Sebastian Lague's videos on the topic. Beginners can start with simple gates, while experienced builders can push it towards full CPUs.

A name-your-own-price download for Windows, macOS and Linux on itch.io, so it can be had for free, with no account needed. Version 2 is marked as in development and the page warns of bugs and rough UI. The source code is on GitHub under the MIT licence.
