Upload Python trading algorithms to a simulated market across five timed rounds
IMC Prosperity is a yearly online trading challenge. Teams of up to five write Python trading algorithms and upload them to a simulated market, where they trade a growing set of products round by round. Each of the five rounds also has a manual puzzle, and the final simulated profit decides the ranking.

About IMC Prosperity
It trains market-making and statistical thinking as much as coding: you read order books, model prices and tune a bot under time pressure. Basic Python is enough to start, and the organisers publish a wiki and a tutorial round first.
It runs in the browser and needs an account. The prize challenge targets university students and has cash prizes, with eligibility rules on residency and enrolment, but the site says anyone can sign up to take part for learning. The 2026 edition ran from mid-March (tutorial) to 30 April.
