MongoDB Murder Mystery
Query a MongoDB database with mongosh commands to find who did it
MongoDB Murder Mystery is a MongoDB take on the SQL Murder Mystery. A murder has happened in MongoDB City, you lost the crime scene report, and you have to pull it and every later clue out of the police database. You type mongosh-style commands such as db.getCollectionNames() and find() into editors on the page, keep notes in an incident panel, and check your suspect against a locked solution collection.

About MongoDB Murder Mystery
It practises document-database querying: exploring collections, filtering, and following references between documents. It suits developers who know SQL and want to try MongoDB, and learners with no background thanks to an optional walkthrough.
It is free, open source under MIT and runs in the browser with no account. The backend accepts only a limited subset of mongosh commands. A timer is optional, and an AI track lets an agent investigate for you if you prefer plain English.
