QueryCase teaches SQL through detective cases. A character called Chief Fox briefs you on each case, and you write real SQL to solve it. The cases start with simple SELECT queries and build up to joins, window functions and CTEs. Short drills between cases help you remember what you learned.

About QueryCase
There are detective ranks, timed exams, certificates and leaderboards. An Investigations mode removes hints and adds a timer, and a sandbox lets you query sample data sets. It suits beginners who want a full path, and the later cases challenge intermediate users.
It runs in the browser using DuckDB, so you install nothing. The first cases are free, and the full set needs a payment. The site now also has an Excel course.
