About Selector Showdown
It covers element, class and ID selectors, pseudo-classes such as :not() and :hover, pseudo-elements such as ::before and ::first-line, and the difference between :is() and :where(). You should know the basics of selectors first, and Codepip suggests playing CSS Scoops and Nth Cart before this one. It suits anyone who has wondered why one CSS rule beats another.
The game runs in the browser. It is a Pro game, so you need a Codepip account and a paid Pro plan to play.
On Breakpoint since 23 Oct 2026.
