Adventure Land is an online MMORPG where you can play by hand or write JavaScript that plays for you. Your code can run up to four characters at once, so they fight monsters, loot, craft and trade in a world shared with other players, and they can stay online around the clock. A working default script is included, and you change it one line at a time.

It trains practical JavaScript: loops, timers, game state and party logic that you keep improving for months. The tutorial has a JavaScript crash course, and in-game guides show code examples for each feature, so it suits beginners as well as players who like long automation projects.
