Programming Game is an MMORPG that you play only through code. You write a TypeScript function that runs on every update from the server and returns your character's next action, such as moving or attacking. Away from town, hostile creatures appear, danger grows the farther you go, and if you die you lose the items you carry.

There is a free in-browser demo with no sign-up. For the full game you create an account, get an API key, and run your code with the programming-game npm package and a starter project from GitHub.
