CodeCup
Write a program that plays a board game against everyone else's entries
CodeCup is a yearly online contest where you write a program that plays a two-player board game. Each edition uses a new game. For 2027 it is Tumbleweed, played on a hexagonal board, where you place stacks to win territory. You submit your program and it plays automated matches against every other entry.

About CodeCup
The contest trains game-tree search, evaluation functions and careful engineering within time and memory limits. It suits intermediate and advanced programmers, and it is open to anyone with no age limit.
You submit through the CodeCup website after logging in. Your program talks to the referee through standard input and output, and free testing software called Caia lets you run games at home. Entry is free, and test competitions run every three weeks before the final.
On Breakpoint since 25 Oct 2026.
