Advent of Code
Daily December coding puzzles you can solve in any language
Advent of Code is a yearly set of small programming puzzles. Each puzzle tells a short story and gives you your own input file. You write a program in any language you like, run it on that input, and type in the answer. Most days have a second part that builds on the first.

About Advent of Code
The puzzles start on 1 December and come out daily until mid-December. They usually get harder as the event goes on, so you practise problem solving, parsing input and choosing good algorithms.
You only need a little programming knowledge to begin. It is free, but you need to sign in with an outside account to get your input and send answers.
On Breakpoint since 23 Oct 2026.
