Online-Go.com (OGS), a free Go server, lets programs play as bot accounts. Its official gtp2ogs tool wraps any engine that speaks GTP, the Go Text Protocol, and connects it to the server, where it accepts challenges from human players and other bots and plays rated games.

It is a practical way to test a Go engine against a wide mix of opponents, from beginners to strong programs, and to watch how it handles real games rather than self-play. It suits anyone writing a Go AI, from a simple Monte Carlo player to a neural-network engine.
You need a normal OGS account, a second account for the bot, and a moderator to flag it as a bot; you then generate an API key and run gtp2ogs with your engine. Pre-built gtp2ogs binaries exist for Windows, macOS and Linux, or you can install it with npm.
