About SQL Case Files
Every case is built around one SQL idea: filtering, aggregation, JOINs, OUTER JOINs to find missing records, grouping, SELF JOINs, CASE expressions, subqueries, window functions and finally CTEs. That makes it a structured route from beginner to fairly advanced SQL. The maker built it to give SQL Noir players a gentler learning curve.
It is free and runs in the browser. You only enter a detective name, with no sign-up. There are training manuals, badges and an optional AI assistant, and the site can be installed as an offline web app.
