Learn Git Branching teaches Git with a visual commit tree. You type Git commands into a terminal on the page, and the tree updates to show what each command does. Each level asks you to reach a target tree, and the game counts how many commands you used.

Levels cover branching, merging, rebasing and moving work around, and a separate set of lessons covers remote repositories with push and pull. It suits beginners, but the later levels also help experienced users.
